The Dritz Home Drapery Hem gauge is one of my favorite workroom tools. It is 18" wide which makes pressing in hems go very quickly. In the photo below I have turned up 4" and will press right over the folded hem and hem gauge. Then I will move it along the 54" width and press in the next 18" section. The hem is pressed in no time. The hem gauge is available through Amazon.
