Waterfall Roman Shades are very popular right now and there are several ways to do them. One method is to stagger the ring placement but that is time consuming and not compliant with shade safety rules.

The easiest way to achieve a waterfall affect is to use spacers between the rings. For these faux roman shades I have used 1/2" beads from Hobby Lobby. Safe T Shade ring locks also work for a waterfall affect.

For a deeper waterfall, the beads or ring locks may be stacked.
